I tried to make them very realistic in every way. They handle well for a pickup truck, and can do alot of things. You can drive a bobcat or other vehicle into the bed of the bumper pull version, and strap it down, then raise the tailgate back up and drive. The wrecker can tow most any light vehicles well. It has a extendable cable to help recover vehicles. The trucks include a good interior, and steering wheel.
I decided to release it how it is, and see how it does on peoples computors. I have a pretty basic computor, and it runs fine in both multiplayer and solo. Most people shouldnt have any problems running good FPS on this map. Please dont mod it yet, becuase im gonna keep working on it and upgrading things and release a update in the future.

How to lift off, fly and pick up a load...READ THIS FIRST
- you can always see a help-chart by pressing and holding F4 in pilots view ( SAR and Logger only ) - you can get a better overview by pressing F3 once in pilots view, released by pressing F4 once ( SAR and Logger only )
Enter the helicopter
Press the Parking Break ctrl (strg) Pos1: Fire up all engines simultaneously ctrl (strg) Page up: Maximum Power to all engines Page down once, you overpower it and please reduce it by 1 click, only use the BOOST for extrem Load lifting, it will stress the rotorheads to the absolute maximum they can withstand. If the AOA-Inidicators is permanently OVER 15 ( the red marker ), you need a parachute :D
..wait until engines reach green area... 96 RPM (%)
gently apply F1 until the Helicopteri lifts off
Arrowkey UP: Accelerate/forward flight: Nose down ..watch your height and apply more lift if needed (F1) Arrowkey Down: Breaking/reverse flight: Nose up, reduce lift for some time not to gain too much height (F2)
Z/X (Y/X) :Turning, will do a pivot in hover mode that needs minor corrections not to drift / accelerate...just watch the virtual horizon Will bank and turn in forward flight faster then 30 knots, additional nose down + banking = higher turn ratio..
Arrowkeys Left/Right: Strafing while hovering, Bankingl left/right in forward flight
HOW TO:
1. Picking up a load
Land close to a load with ONE ropable, best placed in top center Press O to shoot out the tie Wait for the tie to move the hook sideways Apply rope to let the tie pull the node to the ropable at the load (F5) When tie stops working, lock the hooknode (L) and then release the tie (O) Apply more rope to get some manouver space for the heli
-> Start, center the heli over the load, climb slowly, correct against the weight of the load and lift it off (F1) - Pull the load close to the heli with F6 to fly and gain control
Releasing it is easy: L to drop it, F6 and then L to place it
You can lift and fly 13 tons, dont go too fast or the rotorhead will deform permanently and you need a parachute instantly :D
2. Rollon Loads: (SAR and Logger only)
Drive in a car with 5 (!) ropables, one on each edge and one in the center. Park in the middle of the Helicopter, activate Parkingbrake, switch of the engine, leave the car Enter the helicopter, Press "O" to tie the car down. It needs to be really centered in the helicopter, weight balancing is vital for flight characteristics.

Before you start drive you must locked hook nose oof cabin, because it will cradle. For locked use button "L" and locked arm button "O".

Feel free to modify it, but make it not conflicting with the original one if you want to release it.

Dry van with mesh body. There are some chrome/reflective parts, mesh wheels, a bunch of side marker lights.

It has a node and beam skeleton with invisible polygons for collisions. I tried to keep the polygon count reasonable, it shouldn't be too hard on performance.
(The fender-brackets could have been made with less polys while still looking the same)
The trailer's width and height are correct, but it is a bit too long.
The main texture is a png, not a dds. I tried several ways to convert it to dds but none of them worked. Bad colors or edges, it just didn't look right in game with a dds texture.
Press "O" to use ties and hook in 4 points (needed if you want to rotate the load) or Presss "L" to hook in 1 point
Note: to enter the crane, you need to be placed under the cab; and if the crane is on the stabilizer, you'll need to jump to enter. the cab is a little high ;)

This was a spur of the moment build last night, and just got the skin done late and its a fun truck to do pretty much anything with. It can tow the big dolly trailer, go almost anywhere offroad, and u can put some things in the bed if they fit. It's a mini truck used on farms to do all sorts of little tasks. I made it as simple and fun as possible, with dual frame rails and a hitch. Enjoy
It has fully retractable landing gear, front landing lights, working wing lights, cockpit view with illuminated gauges, airbrakes. And hopefully everyone enjoys the way it flys. It weighs around 108 ton.
To take off - Set flaps to full, and full throttle with one click back on the throttle so you dont engage the afterburners (which I cant turn off in .35, so just dont fly at full throttle). You should be able to take off on any of the runways in the game. Landing on the other hand is very tough on the small runways, but im going to continue to work on the plane, to make it better in .36.
Trailer with an ampliroll hook, modified from the Volvo. Removed the cab and the 2 front axles, and made a regular tow bar. Color is matching the Zetor Traktor. You have to enter the trailer like a truck to connect the hook to the load, the wheels are still driven so you can move it forward and backward. It has importcommand so it "listens" to the towing vehicle as well (if that has forwardcommands)

This is a preview of the flexbody feature that will be included in 0.36. As I have neither the time nor the ability to use it myself (I'm not a good modeler) I prefer to release this preview now so modders can play and tinker with it, and get a good vehicle batch with this feature ready for 0.36. It will also allow me to get input and eventually improve the feature as experiments goes. The meeting place is in mod-tech!
This is a patch for RoR-0.35 for Windows you have to apply by the hand. Just replace the RoR.exe from your install and the dodgecharger files in the trucks directory. This is for hardcore modders, if you dont understand how to use it, don't try and wait for 0.36! This patch has no other effects than just adding the flexbody feature (no bug fix included in this patch!)
I've added more meshes. Lights look better by night now. There are new exhausts, ladder, hooks, and some pipes.
BTW. After downloading, rename the filename to mcd_skot.zip - and overwrite older one.
mcd SKOT is a civil version of SKOT (an armored transporter). This is a firetruck version.

READ THIS DESCRIPTION BEFORE JUST DOWNLOADING AND FLYING!
This is my first plane, so it wont be perfect, but it handles really well.
A couple notes to follow:
1) If you want to taxi around on the ground, use barely any if No throttle at all, otherwise it will want to lift up on the front wheels to take off
2)To land smoothly, the best way is to come in slow, and before u hit the runway hit the R key for reverse, and u can land nice and smooth
3)It has a lot of power, so I usually fly at 1/4 throttle for a nice steady smooth control, but it also flies well at full throttle, its just more aggressive at that speed
4)Yes its strong on a crash, but thats the only way to make it not wobble and fall apart in the air, so please dont complain about it not breaking much when u crash.
5) yes the flares are in the wrong position, ill release a update eventually with that fixed

The first sideXsides released on RoR, hopefuly not the last. This is my favorite side by side the Yamaha Rhino, and since they're getting so popular in the states, I figured ROR needed some. I've included a stock version, a race version, and a show version. They each have 2 speeds to represent the hight/low function on the real one. The stock one has a hitch for light towing. The show version has under(and over)glow when you press ctrl+1. The race one over jumps alot of jumps so take it easy. They should all be under offroad cars in the game. Most importantly, Enjoy

This is a is a simple revision of "FlatMapFull32x", it contains some updates such as:
A better grass texture. (The old one was bad.) A smaller file size. (196 KB) Two more semi trailers. The added racetrack from kristian. (I moved it from the middle of the map to the corner, and added a few things.) The map optimization from thomas.
Installation is easy, simply download and place into your RoR packs folder.
This little beast is alot of fun. It's built extremely tough to withstand a Baja map that i'm working on. I didnt want it breaking halfway through a race and having to restart.
Its alittle drifty, meaning it spins out sometimes if u land off or give it to much throttle in a turn. But once u get a feel for how to drive it, u can control it well.
Jumping can be controlled in the air with throttle and brakes. If the nose starts to drop, shift to 6th and give it full throttle until it levels out. And if the nose starts to lift up to high, just tap the brakes and it will lower the nose for a nice landing like u would on a dirtbike in the air. Again, it'll take some practice but once u get the hang of how to control it in the air u can land some really big jumps.
Has 6 headlights, so driving at night is fun. Enjoy
This is a big package that includes the updated Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 Mega Cab, and the RV Trailer that I have been working on.
This pack includes a lot:
First of all is the new Ram: There are 3 Rams included. The Red and Blue Rams are the same truck, with Ranch Hand front and rear replacement bumpers, a headache rack, a 7" single stack, towing mirrors, a trailer hitch, and running boards. The headache rack has functioning lights. The hitch is no longer adjustable, as adjustable hitches are too weak. These Rams are slightly heavier and have a little more power, and lower gear ratios. The tow hooks (ropables) in the front have been replaced with ropes, so the truck can grab from all directions. The chassis has some slight improvements, including more beams for strength, and the rear axle no longer pulls weird on the left side under hard acceleration.
The 3rd Ram is a special Rigs of Rods Public Works truck painted in none other than "RoR Orange". It includes white strobe lights on the front and rear, and also orange rotating strobes on the headache rack. it is geared even lower than the Red and Blue Rams above. With a top speed of 61MPH it is not extremely fast, but has a lot of pulling power. It includes all the meshes and updated features as the Red and Blue Rams too.
In the "Extras" folder included in the .zip there is a blank PSD (can be opened in Photoshop or GIMP) for skinning the truck. All of the sections are labeled.
Also included is the RV Trailer. It is based on a Fleetwood bumper-pull double axle RV.
It has four adjustable jacks on each corner, and an awning that can be extended and retracted. It is very heavy. Bear in mind that it was designed to be pulled with the above Dodge trucks.
I have decided to go ahead and release the Bobcat S130 Skidsteer Loader with the bucket attachment, along with a hay bale that can be used with it.
Some notes about controlling the loader:
1. It handles a lot like a Bobcat - that is, it rides rough, will tip if you slam between forward/reverse or carry a load to high off the ground. Don't expect to be able to go flying off of curbs with the hay bale held up high and stay upright!
2. It has 2 forward gears and 1 reverse gear. The 2nd forward gear is strictly for high-speed, unloaded travel on flat ground. First gear allows the Bobcat S130 to reach its maximum "realistic" speed, and should be used in most situations.
3. If using the automatic transmission, use the PGUP/PGDN keys to select first or second gear manually so that it does not try to shift gears. If allowed to shift gears you will notice it can become very hard to drive.
As I finish up the other versions, I will release them accordingly.
*IMPORTANT*
I request that no one releases a "bale spear" version of the Bobcat, because I already have one being made that just needs some final adjustments.
For now I am not going to develop the "manual attachment" version any further, because loads cannot be used in 0.34 MP, and therefore would not make much sense to drive a Bobcat around without any attachments. All of the versions that I release will have the attachment already connected to the Bobcat so it can be used in MP without any trouble.
Also included is a simple hay bale that you can move around/rope on to with the Bobcat bucket.

I am given credit for being the original creator WHEREVER the vehicle is discussed.
I remain the creator of the chassis in the .truck file. You may add yourself in as the "chassis modifier" or something similar, if you do perform modifications to it.
You do not release vehicles which I have specifically stated that I will be releasing soon, as in the case of the "Bale Spear Bobcat".
A PM or email is always appreciated before you release the modification, but not required.
This being the 5th terrain release to date, this one is unique from all the others. So far the MT series gave a challange at heights of various mountanious terrains but Savanna Run is apart. This time I went light and you will see that this is a "simple" terrain.

I'd like to present my brand new mcdRoadRoller. The truck name tell you what it is. It is full of meshes so looks quite good (i think :-) )
There's some nice thing. When you're using inside truck camera - your ingame eyes turn while steering right or left! I don't know if you understand me due to my pour english, but just look on the screen (when you steer left, your eyes go to the left also).
What you should know:
It has four gears:
1 TH - LOW WORKING SPEED (<7 KM/H)
2 ND - WORKING SPEED (<15 KM/H)
3 RD - ROAD SPEED (<25 KM/H)
4 TH - CAUTION!!! (<70 KM/H) (FOR FUN :-) )
UNPACK TO TRUCKS FOLDER! I don't know why, but when the truck is placed in packs folder - some meshes behavie weird!
You can use 1-3 gears to start up (no need to start from 1st). I suggest using manual gearshift. To drive more comfortable use gamepad or joystick (due to used this kind of steering hydro system)

4) DO NOT put the big zip-file as a whole in the packs folder

Yes, Mountain Run 3 is finally released. After a month or so of problems I got tired and quickly finished it. Although, I hope I had more time to polish it, still I think youl be satisfied. I must say that this IS the toughest offroad terrain to date for ror. Visit the track thread for info on different spawning points.
